What I Learned About Oracle, Arizona

When considering taking a vacation to Arizona, there were a few smaller towns that learned about during my research. One of the small towns is Oracle, Arizona. Oracle got its start in 1880. The small town is home to over 3500 people according to the census in 2010. Oracle is located around 30 miles away from Tucson City. The elevation is around 4500 feet. While the town is on the smaller side, there’s no shortage of things to see when you’re in the area. Oracle has a state park, county park, campgrounds, hiking trails, and museums. The town hosts many events throughout the year. Some of the events in 2017 include a piano concert, running event, car show, and festival. For this reason, if I did decide to visit Oracle, I would plan my trip to line up with the event that I wanted to attend. That way I would not only get to explore the small town but I could experience an event that happens in the town. Oracle has both food and lodging options that would allow my family to stay for a bit if we were interested in seeing more than we could in one day.
